Bridal and event hair in Tampa

A wedding style in Tampa has to last from the first photo through a humid outdoor ceremony and a reception on the water. The trial is where that gets worked out, and the price for the day, including the bridal party and travel, is set before the date is booked.

Occasions we style for

  • Weddings, from the bride to the whole party
  • Engagement photos and rehearsal dinners
  • QuinceaƱeras and sweet sixteens
  • Galas, proms and formal events
  • Elopements and courthouse weddings
  • Mothers of the bride and groom

How bridal booking works

  1. Hold the date. Tell us the date, venue and roughly how many people need hair. You get the price for the day before you commit.
  2. Trial. Usually four to eight weeks out. You try the style, see how it holds, and adjust.
  3. Timeline. A schedule for the morning, working back from when photos start, with time for touch-ups.
  4. Wedding day. In the salon or on site at your venue or hotel, with the products and pins to keep it in place.

What affects the price

  • Number of people being styled.
  • Trial included or booked separately.
  • On-site service and travel distance to the venue.
  • Early start times, and extra stylists needed to meet the photo schedule.

You get the price for your service at the consultation, before any color or product goes on.

Wedding hair that holds in Florida

Most Tampa Bay weddings involve time outdoors, on a lawn, a dock or a beach, and often in the warmest months. Styles are chosen and set with that in mind: more structure in updos, waves set to drop softly rather than fall flat, and humidity-resistant products throughout. The trial is also when to say whether the ceremony is outside at four in the afternoon in July.

On-site service covers venues from downtown Tampa and the Westshore hotels to Pinellas beaches and the Pasco ranch venues. Start times are set from the photographer's schedule, and travel is quoted up front.

Common questions

How far ahead should I book?

Six to twelve months for popular dates, especially spring and fall Saturdays. Smaller parties and weekday weddings can be booked closer in.

Do you come to the venue?

Yes. On-site service is available across Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas. Travel is included in the price you get up front.

Is a trial required?

Strongly recommended for the bride. It's where the style is tested against your hair, your dress neckline and the weather.

Will my hair hold up outside?

That's what the products and the setting technique are for. Tell your stylist where and when the ceremony is and the style is built to last it.
